I have my BA in Theater from Louisiana State University and my MFA in Directing from the University of Portland. I also have over six years of hands-on teaching experience in public speaking, drama, film, literature, rhetoric, and theater arts. I was also a high school teacher for three years and a college professor for another three years.I have helped many students with one-on-one instruction, goal formations, assessments of abilities, and the review of their work in order to get them where they need to be academically. I also have a strong amount of understanding and empathy for my tutoring students that have some home lives that contain a lot of stress or who have special needs. I am able to relate to them, give them hope, and encourage them to keep moving forward with their studies.During my free time, I enjoy camping, hiking, meditation, fitness training, international travel, experimental cooking, connecting with nature, and attending the theater and arts.
